All in-person events (flight training, classroom training, examination) take place in Wuppertal and in Nideggen (Rursee, Eifel). Dates can be found in the calendar on our website.

Participation in classroom training or an online course is not mandatory before taking the A2/STS exam, but we recommend it. The admission requirements for the A2/STS exam can be found in the exam regulations.

Activation of the web-based training course at https://lms.uas365.com takes place after confirmation of payment. The online training takes 6 to 12 hours to complete (depends on previous knowledge). The course must be completed within 6 months of booking.

Online exam usually takes place Monday or Friday afternoon. In-person exam in Wuppertal are usually scheduled on Saturdays and in the Eifel on the Rursee on Sundays. There is no minimum number of participants for in-person exams.

Training by experienced drone pilots using your and/or our drones. Our drones include DJI Mavic 3, DJI Phantom 4 and - if requested and available - DJI Matrice 210. Appointments by arrangement, usually before the A2/STS theory exams. Weather dependent.

Duration 2 hours with 1 participant, with several participants duration 3 to 4 hours. Covers all training content required by the LBA for the A2, so that the LBA’s “Declaration of self-study” form can then be filled out.

Acceptance of a practical exam based on the content specified by the AMC. Appointments by arrangement. Weather dependent.

Duration 2 hours with 1 participant, with several participants duration 3 to 4 hours. By issuing our certificate, we certify that the examined remote pilot has mastered the content specified by the AMC.

Appointments by arrangement, usually Saturday mornings 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., afternoons 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., course duration 6 hours, only takes place with at least 4 participants. Contains all content taught in the A2 online training course plus an extra module covering specific German Drone Regulations.
